Yancey is the one author that you should buy any and every book he puts out. Seriously, he’s that good. No matter what he writes about, even when the topic seems boring to me, the book is amazing and life altering.

In this book he goes on a global pilgrimage to determine if his faith holds up under “the refiner’s fire of oppression, violence, and plague.” Just trust me, buy this book, and every other book he’s written or writes in the future. You’re welcome.
