Have you heard about Brave New Voices?  It’s a national youth poetry slam, with about 50 teams competing from around the world.

I heard about it from a friend of mine.  Then I was in a hotel room, and a party was raging below me.  It was keeping me up in the middle of the night, so I turned on the TV, started flipping around, and saw three teens doing a choreographed poetry slam.  It was Brave New Voices, and it was really good.  If you can watch it, or go and experience it, I would.
