Feel The Pain

Perhaps the most powerful force keeping us stuck is our capacity for self-deception. We live in denial, ignoring our pain. We wear a mask with a smile on it, following the “I’m fine, how are you” script we were taught from childhood. We lower the standards of what real life should look like so we can scrape over the bar.
The problem is if we never feel the pain, we’ll never address the pain. We need to confess the areas in which we’re stuck, and identify the consequences. In what ways are we hurting ourselves and the people we love?
When we feel the pain we’ll be motivated to take the steps that lead to unstuck.
