Ready to Start 6: A Convenient Location
I’ve been sharing six critical things you need before you start your church. Here’s the last one:
So you have courageous people on your side, a compelling vision, a clear strategy, a committed team, and a considerable amount of cash – you’re ready to launch your church. All you need now is … a convenient location. A facility to hold your services in that is easy to give directions to, convenient to get to, with good visibility, and which is comfortable to be in.
Size matters too. You want a space big enough to fit your people and children’s ministry in, but not so big it feels empty with the amount of people you have.
Personally, I prefer a new church renting temporary space and then growing into permanent space later. And I prefer movie theaters over schools – people like going to the theater, no one enjoys going to school.
