One of the saddest things I encounter is a person without a life passion.
And one of the most exciting things I get to do is help people
discover their calling from God and start to live it out.

How do you discover your calling? We’ve talked about a bunch of “heady” techniques, but here’s a more practical one: Experiment. Bob Buford, author of Halftime, suggests doing “low cost probes.” Basically, it’s finding ways to try a new “calling” on for size, without giving up your day job.
So perhaps you’re feeling called to becoming a teacher. Well, volunteer to teach in your church’s kid’s ministry and see if it feels right. Thinking God might want you to become a missionary? First go on a mission trip or two.
