Celebrate Success
One of my weaknesses as a leader is that I don’t celebrate success. “Yeah, we did great, it was awesome, what’s next?” is my style, and that’s not good. In “Celebrate Team’s Success and Boost Business,” Brenda Bence talks about some of the positive effects of celebrating success:
- It motivates employees to work harder.
- It unifies the team around common goals.
- It uplifts employees’ mind-sets from ongoing tasks to a celebration.
- It communicates the kind of goals the organization values.
- It builds momentum by illustrating that progress is happening.
- It reminds them that they work for a winning organization.
