Fear the Alternative

There’s an old saying:  A hero is a man who is afraid to run away.

So what are you afraid of?  Perhaps you need to instead fear the alternative. 

• Afraid of sharing your faith with friends? Instead, fear them never hearing about Jesus.
• Afraid of tithing? Instead, fear never making an eternal impact with your money.
• Afraid of staying in a difficult marriage? Instead, fear the consequences of divorce.

You get the idea. But will you do it? Seriously, what are you afraid of? Think about what will happen if you let fear rule instead of staring down your fear and taking action in spite of it.
