Dream Speed Bumps

I’ve got big dreams for Verve; for how Verve can help hurting people in Las Vegas and bring God to people who think they could never have Him. If you know me you may think you know the dreams, but you don’t. I’m getting closer to revealing some, but right now they’re mostly just a secret between me and God.

Honestly, one of the reasons I’ve been nervous about sharing them is because it’s not like it’s been easy for us so far. We’re growing, but it’s not explosive growth. We’re trying to figure out how to make ends meet financially…

So I was encouraged recently when I was re-reading The Church That Never Sleeps and found this:

Sometimes God will allow tough times to come at you immediately when you’re following a dream because He wants to find out up front if you can withstand them. Most people who have accomplished great things for God testify to the same thing: their biggest test came in the beginning.

So, have you got a big dream from God? Is it being tested? Keep moving, get past the speed bump, because your destiny is waiting for you.
