A Second Chance at a New Start

We’re about 40 days into 2012. Did you make any new year’s resolutions this year? Maybe to lose weight? Or watch less TV? Or stop that habit? Or start exercising?  —  So, how you doing with that?

One resolution I hope you made was to read the Bible. Not because we want to be “good Christians” and “good Christians” read the Bible. No, because God speaks into our lives when we read the Bible, and our lives are changed.

Maybe you started reading but have stopped. Or maybe you’ve never been in the habit of reading the Bible everyday. Well, tomorrow is your second chance! It’s a great day to start again. And part of the reason for that is that today we’re starting the book of Luke in our Verve 2012 Bible Reading Plan. (Which you can download at www.vervecatalysts.org).
