The Unique 19

One of the projects I’ve been working on for Auxano is the creation of what we’ve been calling a “list for the rest of us” – The Unique 19.  Every year lists come out featuring the biggest churches in the country and the fastest growing churches in the country. And there’s nothing wrong with that, but maybe there are things to celebrate in churches beyond just size and numbers.

What we’re celebrating are churches that are unique expressions of the church. Churches that, when you hear their stories, you think, “Wow, that’s different. I have not heard that before.” These are churches that have vision clarity about who they are, and are living it out in powerful ways.
