Writing a Book – Whole Series

This week I did a series on book writing. If you want to read it, here are the three links:

By the way, if you have some kind of fondness for me, or even sympathy for me, you could do me a huge favor and get the word out about my book. Again, it’s not so much about making money (I’m not planning on making much!) but I put a lot of time into this thing and I’m really hoping that it gets into people’s hands and changes their lives.

So, if you’d like to help, here are some things you could do: (1) Blog about the book and put the amazon link (http://www.amazon.com/Became-Christian-This-Lousy-T-Shirt/dp/0801068185/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1198700913&sr=8-1) in your post; (2) Tell your pastor friends about the free series we’ve made available, and give them the web site address for it (http://www.lousytshirtbook.com/); (3) Buy a copy and give it to a friend who is a Christian (or at least claims to be) but seems to be missing out on the Christian life; (4) Buy 50 copies and give them to 50 of your romantic interests for Valentine’s Day; (5) Buy 100 copies and give them to 100 of your Irish friends for St. Patrick’s Day; (6) Start working the book into conversations. For instance, your friend says, “Man, my life isn’t going so great right now.” You respond, “Wow, it sounds like you need to read ‘I Became a Christian and All I Got Was This Lousy T-Shirt’.”; (7) Start working the book into unrelated conversations. For instance, your friend says, “Man, did you see that game yesterday?!?” and you answer, “No, I was too busy reading that fantastic new book by Vince Antonucci,” or your friend says, “So where do you want to eat lunch?” and you respond, “It really don’t care. Little things like that used to matter to me, but since I’ve started reading, ‘I Became a Christian and All I Got Was This Lousy T-Shirt” my life has become so great, well, everything has changed.” (If you can start weeping right then, it would be perfect.)
