One of the surprising things I’ve learned at Forefront is the power of recurring series. I’m one of those “Let’s keep it fresh! How can we do something new?” kind of guys, but from the beginning we did our “At the Movies” series annually. We saw how people loved not only that series, but (I think) also the recurring nature of it.
We then had another series that went well and was fun, and that we didn’t nearly exhaust the topic. So two years later we brought the series back (with new topics) and people loved it.
Then I thought, “Oh, maybe we’re on to something.”
