Keep Austin Weird

Flying today to Austin, Texas where I’ll be participating in E.L.I.’s “Cultivate.” E.L.I. is a church planting organization that I’m very proud to be associated with. If you are thinking about starting a church, and are very serious about reaching the unchurched and antichurched, you should totally check E.L.I. out.

Cultivate is their version of what others call “Church Planter Bootcamp” but they have made what, in my opinion, is the very super-fantastic decision to avoid war terminology. (Seriously, why do Christians love war terminology? Isn’t that kinda, you know, stupid?)

Anyway, I’ll be speaking at Cultivate three times and attending it and learning from the rest of the sessions.
