Another Cool Thing … And Prayer Request

When we started the church in Virginia Beach, were were there for four months and still didn’t have anyone interested in joining us. I kind of assumed that would happen this time as well, but…

Not only have we already added three local families to our Launch Team (the 15 to 25 who are moving here to start the church) but tonight we are having our first ever “Vervalicious” – a dinner/vision casting/do you want to join us kind of event. And check this:

• There are 5 or 6 local people who wanted to come, but can’t.
• There are 5 or 6 local people who are interested, but I haven’t heard back from yet.
• There are at least 10 local people who are coming!

Those numbers all don’t count kids, I’m just talking adults. So we have over 20 people from Vegas who have expressed interest in becoming a part of Verve. That’s crazy!! It’s very possible that if we don’t find any new people who are interested in joining, we could still have 40 to 50 adults who are “in” by this summer.
