Detroit, Rock City

Leaving today for Detroit, where I will be speaking at Kensington Community Church for their weekend services. Kensington is one of the churches that impresses me the most, for lots of reasons.

One, they seem to be very serious about reaching lost people. Two, they invest BIG TIME in church planting. Three, they don’t seem to have a rock star mentality about their church or pastor. And more and more. So I’m psyched about getting to experience their church first hand, and honored to get to speak there.

They’re being so nice to me that they actually asked me to bring my family! So we’re all going, which is going to be a blast!
