Seeking a Life of Radical Love
I mentioned a week or so back that I was toying with “Seeking a Life of Radical Love” as a mission statement, which received all kinds of responses. Anyway, just thought I’d mention that a verse from this morning’s reading, sounds a whole lot like it. Ephesians 5:2:
and live a life of love,
just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us
as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.

And, by the way, the idea of, “Seeking a Life of Radical Love” is two fold. First, it’s that Jesus is the life of radical love, and therefore we are seeking Him. Second is that we want to imitate His life and seek to live a life of radical love of our own.
