Satisfy

If you haven’t already, take a minute and read today’s reading – Psalm 103. Even if you’re not doing this reading plan with us, you need to read it.

Love how God is described: “Compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love.” A God who “who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases.”

The problem is that we do forget all His benefits, and therefore to praise Him.

What I need to learn, in my life, is to satisfy my desires with Him. You too? We all have desires, but will we let God satisfy them? I’m not one to quote Christian song lyrics, but I love the song “Satisfy” by Tenth Avenue North, where the chorus says:

Satisfy me Lord, oh oh
Satisfy me Lord, oh oh
Yeah, I’m begging You, to help me see
You’re all I want, You’re all I need
Oh, satisfy me Lord

You’re beautiful, You’re beautiful
You’re more than all this world can give
You’re beautiful, You’re beautiful
You’re love is all I need to live
