Some Balance … And Completion

It’s probably obvious if you read this blog that I like to focus on the love and grace of God (because Jesus focused on the love and grace of God) and that I think it’s typically ineffective (and maybe even counterproductive) with non-Christians to focus on His wrath … but the reality with God is that there IS also wrath. We see that in today’s reading (Revelation 15). And that’s bad news, and we’d be fools to ignore or not fear it.

But we also get good news in the first verse, the idea of God’s wrath being “completed”. Don’t know all that means, but I like the idea that love endures while wrath has some kind of expiration date.
