They had a theme in common I didn’t expect going in – both promoted discipline. I mean promoted like Don King promotes boxing matches. Both authors attribute their success, and they’ve both had a ton, to discipline. … Love it.

People ask me all the time, “How can you start a church AND write a book at the same time?” They also ask, “Why don’t you Twitter, and why don’t you read anyone’s Twitter?” And my answer: “I can start a church AND write a book at the same time because I don’t Twitter or read anyone else’s Twitter.”

They ask, “How can you start a church AND write a book AND do comedy?” They also ask, “Why don’t you do Facebook?” And my answer: “I can start a church AND write a book AND do comedy because I don’t do Facebook.”

There is a TON of stuff I don’t do that almost everyone does, some of it stuff I’d probably enjoy doing, but because I don’t do it, I can do what I consider more important things – that most people don’t have the time to do…
