Meet "Lucky"?

I read a story from Sydney, Austrailia where a 3-year-old-male koala was struck by a car and carried for seven miles with his head and arm wedged through the vehicles front grill. Amazingly, the koala wasn’t seriously hurt. Because of that, the Austrailian Wildlife Hospital dubbed him, “Lucky.” The hospital manager said, “He was very flat and unresponsive for a couple of hours, but after a bit of TLC and some feed and some fluids .. he was up and eating and going really well.”

Sounds like a happy story, right? Not so fast! The hospital manger explained why the koala was out on the road: “Koalas are more likely to be on the move over the next few weeks coinciding with the onset of the koala-breeding season.”

Dude, it’s one thing to be hit by a car, but on your way to a booty call?!? That’s just cruel! And then to be driven seven miles away from said booty call… I don’t know what they should call this koala, but it sure ain’t “Lucky.”
