The Church, So Simple…

Excited because today I’ll be teaching on the church as we conclude our Christianity For Cavemen series.

I think so many people have wrong ideas about what church is – and that statement is an understatement. This may be better: I think most people have vastly wrong ideas about what church is. And I’m not just talking about people who are far from God. I’m also talking about people who attend church regularly.

It’s obvious by the way people dress for church services, by the things they say (“We’re just not getting fed here”), by the way they act, by the people they look down on, by the way they watch but don’t contribute, by the reasons they leave.

Can you tell this gets me riled up? So, again, excited to talk about this this morning and tomorrow night.
