This was a really cool weekend at Verve.  Maybe a “you had to be there” kind of thing, but there was just a great vibe.

  • We talked about marriage and how to get your marriage back to great when its become a crappy love song.  Lots of great feedback on it.
  • The band rocked “My Heart Will Go On.” Not many bands can rock a Celine Dion song, but they pulled it off.
  • Week 2 of “Can You Beat Paul in Karaoke?” was a blast.
  • We gave out tickets for free babysitting this Friday night at the Venue.  Trying to help married couples to go out on dates…
  • We featured The Cupcake Girls, a ministry some Verve women have started for girls in Strip Clubs.
  • Had a few visitors from supporting churches around the country.
  • Several people let us know they want to get baptized.
  • Very cool stuff!
