Vince Recommends…

If you are a pastor or maybe someone who leads a small group or Sunday school class, and you’re looking for a great series to do, I totally recommend Not A Fan.  It’s a video curriculum – six 30 minute videos, with all kinds of other resources available on line.

The idea is that a lot of people are fans of Jesus, but Jesus isn’t looking for fans, He’s looking for followers.  The videos are an ongoing movie-like series, with great teaching artfully mixed in.  The point is to become a completely committed follower of Jesus.

I watched the videos because I was wondering if we should use them for one of our Verve University courses, but I’ll be honest, they got me.  The last video in the series more than got me, several times it crushed me – in a very cool way.
