The Power of a Podcast

There’s a guy here in Vegas who heard about our church last March, but wasn’t interested. He heard about us again around Christmas, and he was a bit interested, he felt he needed a change, needed something. But he didn’t want church. He knew about churches, and no thanks. Still, he went to our website, and discovered we had a podcast. So he subscribed on iTunes.

He listened every week from Christmas till June. Finally, he felt comfortable enough to venture to Verve for a service. Afterwards I asked him if he felt comfortable. He said, “More than I even imagined.” Not long after, he gave his life to Christ and got baptized.

And it all started with a podcast.
