This recommendation is for the foodies out there…

Every time my family goes anywhere, I always go to the websites for Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives or, Man vs. Food, or The Best Thing I Ever Ate, or, well, you get the idea, to see if there might be a great place to eat – as featured on one of the many food shows that feature restaurants. There are quite a few shows like that, so it takes awhile. Another problem is that the location of the restaurant may not be in the exact city you looked up (“Las Vegas”) but instead in the next town over (“Henderson”) and so you’d miss it. All of those problems are gone.

Some brilliant person created a web site, www.tvfoodmaps.com, where you put the name of a city in a search engine, and it will tell you every restaurant that has been featured on any TV show anywhere near that city.

It’s awesome. Well, it’s awesome if you’re the kind of person who is like me…
