Deadly Viper

Got to hang out this week with Jud Wilhite, who is quickly becoming one of my favorite people. Seriously, he is a great guy and one of the most encouraging people you could ever meet. For instance, he told me that many of the greatest companies in America were started in the Great Depression, by visionaries who had the guts to take big risks at a bad time. And he said something like, “That’s gonna be the story of Verve. In years to come people are going to look back at the horrible state of the economy and while most churches bunkered down, you took this huge risk and started a church that is going to be amazing…” Can’t buy that kind of encouragement!
