On to Romans

It will surprise some people to know that Romans is probably my favorite book in the Bible. I’ve seen blogs that rip me for not being “into theology.” So does Romans being my favorite book mean I’m into theology? Nope. I’m into God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit. But I’m not into the study thereof. Just like I’m into my wife, but wouldn’t be especially interested in taking a class on Jenology.

Anyway, those of us who are doing this reading plan together start Romans today. (And, by the way, it’s been cool getting e-mails from people who are appreciating the reading plan and using it to give them direction and accountability in reading the Bible. Thanks!)
