Tithing: Teaching 10% is crap, dude.

In one of the comments last week, some anonymous person wrote, “Ten percent is such a terrible message.”

The ironic thing about that is that GOD TAUGHT TEN PERCENT FOR CENTURIES. My hope, just for entertainment’s sake, is that God let’s us sit and watch conversations He has with people in Heaven. I fully realize that I’ve said a bunch of idiotic things that God will point out to me (and you guys should want to be there to watch that!), but I think it would be HYSTERICAL to watch God say to whomever left that comment, “For centuries I commanded my people to give ten percent.” (Whether it was money, food, or whatever, still God said ten percent.) And then comment-leaver-guy says, “Yeah, that was crap dude.”

Hysterical!
